When deactivated, it automatically halts the engine by interrupting the ignition, thus preventing engine run-on—a critical safety measure for racing applications. Furthermore, this switch functions effectively as an anti-theft device for various vehicles, such as cars, trucks, boats, and agricultural equipment.
