This is normal for solid-style couplers, as they lack the rubber found in OEM couplers that dampen noise but fail often. Not everyone will mention this about solid couplers, but we want to be transparent so you don’t worry—this sound is perfectly normal. It’s usually not noticeable in cars with modified exhausts or when playing music or using other modifications and with a lifetime part if we did have this issue it is not loud enough to prevent us from buying any solid coupler, rather its ours or anyone’s else’s. We’ve observed this on all solid coupler variants, which is why we’re letting you know it’s expected.
